Jammu, Feb 11 (PTI)
A man, who was being pursued by police for five years in connection with several charges against him including criminal intimidation, was arrested on Monday in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official said.

The accused, Mohammad Latief of Manwa-Teryath village, was arrested from Kalakote market, the police spokesman said.

He said a case under various sections of the Ranbir Penal Code, including wrongful restraint, act endangering life or personal safety of others, intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace and criminal intimidation, was registered against Latief in 2014.

However, he was evading arrest, the spokesman said.
