New Delhi, Oct 16 (PTI) The All India Football Federation will felicitate national captain Bhaichung Bhutia on Tuesday for achieving the rare honour of playing 100 matches for the country.

AIFF President in charge Praful Patel would felicitate Bhutia after the Annual General Body Meeting of the federation here and the programme will be attended by representatives of the all the state Associations and affiliated units.

Bhutia become the first Indian, the 37th Asian and the 152nd international footballer, to play more than 100 times for his country.

Bhutia has been around in the international circuit for 14 long years, since making his international debut the the 1995 Nehru Cup, the AIFF said in a statement.
