STAFF WRITER 19:11 HRS IST

Jamshedpur, Oct 25 (PTI) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which will contest all the 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand on its own, today said the party will project Sibu Soren as its chief ministerial candidate.

"There is no difference in the rank and files of JMM over the chief ministerial candidate, but uncertainty on this issue has been prevailing in Opposition camps, including national political parties," JMM general secretary Mohan Karmakar told a press conference.

The JMM, he said, would also contest all the 81 seats in the Jharkhand assembly polls beginning on November 27.

Asked whether a post-poll alliance was a possibility in case of fractured mandate, Karmakar said, "We will take an appropriate decision on the issue."

He said the names of party candidates for the 30 assembly seats going to poll in the first phase on November 27 will be finalised in the next couple of days.
