STAFF WRITER 22:59 HRS IST

New Delhi, Oct 26 (PTI) Dorjee Khandu, who assumed charge as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh for the second consecutive term, today arrived in the national capital to meet the central leadership of Congress.

54-year-old Khandu and his Ministerial colleagues will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, several Union Ministers and Congress President Sonia Gandhi in the next two days, Arunachal MP Takam Sanjay said.

During the meetings, the Chief Minister will brief the leaders about the prevailing situation in the Northeastern state in the wake of repeated claims by China over its territories.

Khandu has sworn in as the fifth Chief Minister of the border state following his party's landslide victory in the just concluded assembly elections.
