Srinagar, Oct 27 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) today filed a chargesheet against Director Agriculture Bashir Ahmad Dar and two other retired officers in a case of causing losses to the state exchequer in an anti-corruption court.

The chargesheet said the officers caused losses to the state exchequer to the tune of over Rs 32 lakh besides making a wasteful expenditure of over Rs nine lakhs during 2006.

Besides Dar who was then joint Director, the two others who were chargesheeted are the then director Ghulam Hyder Bhat and the then Store Purchase Officer Noor Mohammad Bhat, both of whom have retired from service, a spokesman of the SVO said.

All the three accused persons were produced in custody before the court which released them on bail and fixed December 8 as next date of hearing in the case, he said.
