Samastipur/Begusarai (Bihar), Nov 2 (PTI) Two doctors who were abducted from neighbouring Samastipur was freed today in Bihar's Begusarai district.

Dr A K Sahay, Orthopaedic surgeon, and Dr Santosh Kumar Sahni, physician, were abducted yesterday, the police said.

The unknown abductors also stabbed and injured Dr Sahay who was admitted to a hospital, they said.

A group of three gunmen kidnapped Sahay and Sahni when they were on the way to Muzaffarpur on a motorcycle, Samastipur SP Ajitabh Kumar said.

A dispute over a plot of land in Samastipur town was suspected to be the reason for the abduction, the police said.
