Jaipur, Nov 3 (PTI) A private company has lodged an FIR with the Rajasthan Police against IOC officials for their alleged negligence causing deaths even as fire billowed from two petrol tanks on the sixth day of the devastating fire at Sitapur near here.

A case under section 304 A of the IPC was lodged by Genus Overseas Pvt Ltd (Electronic and Instrument) Manager P S Khurana with the Sanganer Sadar police station, the IGP-I B L Soni said.

The inferno has so far claimed 12 lives, he said.

About a dozen complaints have been lodged against IOC by victims' relatives and private companies, the IGP said, adding the SHO Sadar Police has been asked to take up the cases for investigation.
