STAFF WRITER 17:4 HRS IST

Ranchi, Nov 3 (PTI) The Jharkhand Janadhikar Manch (JJM) of former minister Bandhu Tirkey, keen to forge an alliance with the Congress, today announced names of seven candidates for the assembly elections starting on November 25.

"We have identified ten seats to contest and candidates for seven constituencies have been announced," Tirkey told newsmen here.

While Tirkey will contest from Mandar to retain the seat, Ranchi Mayor Rama Khalko will file nomination papers from Bishunpur.

Tirkey said he had spoken to senior AICC leaders for an alliance and would wait for a word from the Congress.
