STAFF WRITER 17:52 HRS IST

Patna, Nov 4 (PTI) Slamming the Congress and RJD for supporting the erstwhile Jharkhand ministry led by Madhu Koda, now under scanner of the income tax department, senior BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain today said the party has an edge over other parties in that state.

"The Congress and RJD are equally responsible for backing Madhu Koda, now under I-T scanner.... Had these two parties not supported Koda, he would not have been the CM of that state," Hussain told reporters here.

"The BJP has an edge over rest of the parties in Jharkhand. It is all set to form its government to rid the state of corruption, naxalism and other ills by providing clean administration," Hussain claimed.
