Hyderabad, Nov 5 (PTI) Three students were today crushed to death and an equal number injured by a speeding bus in Anantapur district, about 340 kms from here.

The mishap took place at Nayanpalli village in the district when a group of students were walking towards a bus stop and were run over by the bus, killing them on the spot, a senior police official said.

The deceased were students of Intermediate first year, eighth and tenth standard

Three others who sustained injuries in the incident were provided medical aid and their condition is out of danger, he said.

The bus driver, however, fled from the scene.
