Patna, Nov 5 (PTI) The RJD would contest 22 of the 30 constituencies going to polls in the first phase of assembly election in Jharkhand to be held on November 25.

Releasing the list of 22 candidates, party chief Lalu Prasad here today said, "We have left five seats for LJP and three for CPI and CPI-M."

Stating that RJD has arrived at a seat-sharing accord with these three parties, he told reporters that this alliance would prove to be a viable alternative in Jharkhand.

He expressed happiness that parties like BJP and Congress failed to firm up an alliance for the polls, he said, "We have a pre-poll alliance and I am confident of winning and forming the government in Jharkhand."

Prasad was reluctant to talk about rest of the seats saying "Wait for a couple of days for the party's candidates for rest 51 seats.
