Hyderabad, Nov 5 (PTI) The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) would not contest the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections scheduled to be held on November 23.

"That (GHMC) is third class subject for us. Our main focus is building up the movement for achieving separate Telangana," TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao told reporters here today.

The last date for filing nominations is November 6. The papers would be scrutinised on November 7 and the last date for withdrawal is November 10.

Counting of votes for the elections to 150 municipal divisions (seats) would be held on November 26.
