STAFF WRITER 15:50 HRS IST

New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) The CPI(M) today took exception to an Indian delegation questioning the Goldstone Report on violation of human rights by Israel in Gaza, saying the stand amounted to New Delhi "colluding" with the US and Israel.

Demanding reversal of the "shameful" stand at the UN, the CPI(M) Politburo said "it is shocking that the Indian delegation has expressed its reservations on endorsing the findings and recommendations of the Goldstone report at a special session of the UN General Assembly."

Maintaining that Israel and the US were "trying to bury the report", the party said their aim was "not to allow" the Report to be referred to the International Criminal Court or taken up by the Security Council.
