Officials said the body of an unidentified person was found at a bus stand and that of one Nepali national was found in a village on Tuesday. They are believed to have died due to cold.

Five migrant labourers hailing from Bihar and engaged in construction work died due to suffocation caused by carbon monoxide emitted from burning of firewood on Tuesday.

The body of a Senior Superintendent in the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Gopal Singh Kapatia (46), was found in his house in Chakker on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, two persons hailing from Uttarakhand, Ajit Sharma and Ram Sharma, were found unconscious in Amar Cottage in Toland after they inhaled carbon monoxide emitted from firewood burning last night. They were taken to a hospital by the police.
