Lt Gen K C Panchanathan cremated in Meghalaya

Shillong, Dec 8 (PTI) Senior Army officer Lt Gen K C Panchanathan was cremated here on Thursday with full military honours, officials said on Thursday.

Panchanathan, 57, passed away at a hospital on Tuesday evening following a heart attack.

Meghalaya cabinet minister Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar and Assam minister Chandra Mohan Patowary laid wreaths on behalf of their respective governments, the officials said.
