Beijing, Dec 4 (PTI) China's spaceship, the Shenzhou-14, carrying three astronauts who lived in its orbiting space station for six months touched down at the Dongfeng landing site in north Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region safely on Sunday, official media here reported.

Minutes after the capsule landed, grounded crews pulled out the three astronauts -- Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe -- one after another from the capsule in a nationally televised operation.

The three astronauts who were in good physical condition briefly spoke to the state-run television reporters before they were escorted to the headquarters for the health checks.
