Indian Army chief Gen. Pande calls on Bangladesh PM Hasina; reviews passing out parade

Dhaka, Jun 6 (PTI) Indian Army chief Gen Manoj Pande on Tuesday called on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and also visited the country's military academy in Chattogram where he reviewed a passing out parade.

Gen Pande, who arrived here on Monday on a two-day visit to Bangladesh - his second trip to the country as Army chief, paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Hasina, the High Commission of India here tweeted.

Earlier, he visited the Bangladesh Military Academy and also felicitated the award winners of the passing out course for their exemplary performance.
