PM Modi to launch projects worth Rs 12,600 crore in Madhya Pradesh

Jabalpur, Oct 5 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects worth Rs 12,600 crore, including rail and road works and a memorial dedicated to Rani Durgavati.

The assembly polls in the state are due this year-end.

Rani Durgavati was the ruling queen of Gondwana in the mid-16th century. She is remembered as a brave, fearless and courageous warrior who fought for freedom against the Mughals, an official said.
